Cracked Pine Tree

Just a few days before Christmas, one of the pine trees on the back of our fence cracked. Luckily, it got stuck in some other trees and didn’t fall. It was about to come down on our fence, some Magnolia trees, and maybe even our house. Did I mention we were leaving town the next day?

I didn’t know that the tree was dead. Even though an Application for Residential Improvement is not needed for removing dead trees, we have a couple other living trees nearby that were leaning into our yard that needed removed.

TREE REMOVAL: Removal of any living tree must be approved by the ACC. Dead trees may be removed without ACC notification and/or approval (ACC Guidelines)

The ACC Volunteers quickly approved my tree removal request (Thanks Anthony and Kim!). Anthony recommended Superior Tree Service. I called them up and Naomi came out and surveyed what trees I wanted removed, and if I wanted the trees hauled off or to remain on the ground where they fall. They gave me a good quote and a few days later, their team was out.

Even though my cracked pine was probably over 15 degrees leaning into my backyard, they roped it up with their equipment, cut it, and it fell safely in the backside of my property with no problem. They made easy work of the other trees as well, despite all of them leaning into my backyard. Click here to see one of my trees being cut.

They did a fantastic job and I definitely recommend them for any work needed for tree removal. You can reach Superior Tree Service at (678) 495-8722.
