March is finally here and hopefully the winter cold is fading fast! Daylight Savings Time starts on March 9th (2AM) with the advance of the hour hand on our clocks. The only total lunar eclipse of the year visible in the United States starts at 11:57PM on March 13th, with the Moon in totality at 2:26AM in the morning on March 14th. The Spring equinox is on March 20th, marking the first day of Spring. The equinox marks the moment where the Earth receives equal hours of daylight and night. And the Lenten season begins on March 5th with Ash Wednesday.

FORGET TO PAY YOUR DUES?

If for some reason you forgot to pay your annual homeowner’s assessment, there is a $25 late fee that has been assessed on your account. If you pay online, you will need to submit two payments – one for your dues and one for your late fee. Otherwise, you can drop off your check with your late fee at the Treasurer’s mailbox or mail it to the HOA at PO Box 72591 Newnan GA 30271.

APPLICATION FOR RESIDENTIAL IMPROVEMENT (ARIs)

Spring is the busy season for projects in the neighborhood. Here are a few items below that you would need to get approval by the ACC.

  • Exterior Painting of your Home
  • New Mailbox
  • Removal of Live Trees
  • New Fence
  • Adding a Swimming Pool
  • New Roof
  • Extension of the Driveway
  • Addition of an exterior structure

Our volunteers on the ACC are responsive. However, please submit your ARI at a minimum of 15 days prior to your project. You can submit your request by clicking the button below.

If you want to learn more about the March total lunar eclipse, I have written an article on my blog page at AstroBortle. Until next time, take care!
